Here is a picture of the  PCalc app scaled up to take advantage of the New iPad Retina Display.  Cult of Mac interviewed various developers about the New IPad and PCalc developer James Thomson said he had already worked to scale up PCalc to take advantage of the Retina Display.  On my 27 inch iMac I can seek how detailed this massive picture is: 2048 x 1536. On my iMac it takes up nearly the entire 27 inch screen at full resolution.
